Our story

Nine autumns, one shared garden

We met on a drizzly Saturday, both waiting for the same neglected allotment plot, and agreed to split it rather than flip a coin. The first year we grew far too many courgettes. The second, we grew a habit of long Sunday suppers.

Somewhere between the bean rows and a lot of borrowed tools, we became a family. Now we'd like to celebrate it the way we like best: outdoors, unhurried and surrounded by people we love.

We want the day to feel like one long supper with everyone who helped us grow.

Venue & stay

Fernhollow, a farm in the woods

A family-run farm tucked into a wooded valley, with a wildflower meadow, an old timber barn and an orchard that hosts the whole weekend. Full directions come with your RSVP confirmation.

Getting there

Shuttles loop between the village and the farm gate all weekend, so nobody needs to drive after supper.

Where to stay

We've held rooms at two village inns and set aside a meadow for anyone who fancies a tent under the stars.

Access

Paths are gravel and grass, and step-free routes link the meadow, barn and orchard. Tell us in your RSVP if you'd like a lift between them.

Good to know

Questions, answered

If something isn't covered here, add a note to your RSVP and we'll get back to you.

What should I wear?

Garden smart. Think linen, florals and soft colours. The ceremony is on grass, so leave the stilettos at home and bring a layer for the evening.

Are children welcome?

Yes, little ones are very welcome all weekend. There will be a quiet corner with blankets and games during supper.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation shows how many seats we've saved for you. The RSVP form lets you confirm up to that number.

Do you have a gift list?

Your company really is the gift. If you'd like to give something, a seed, a cutting or a recipe for our garden kitchen would make us very happy.

What if it rains?

The barn doors open onto the meadow, so we can move the ceremony under cover in minutes. Nothing will be cancelled.

Can you cater for dietary needs?

Absolutely. The supper is seasonal and mostly plant-led. Tell us about any allergies or needs in your RSVP.
